Google Takeover of Swine Flu Mooted
There will be GoogleFlu! Rumours suggest talks in progress

Speculation coming out of the US overnight linking Google Inc with influenza start-up Swine Flu suggests the two companies are in takeover talks.
The news has been broken by the same source that was first to report Google was in the process of buying YouTube a couple of years ago and Twitter at the beginning of April
Yesterday Michael Barrington wrote on the influential HealthCrunch group-edited blog about influenza start-ups, “We don’t know the price but can assume it’s well, well north of the $250 million valuation that they saw in their recent funding.”Late last year the company snubbed the advances of Facebook to buy the desease service for a rumoured $500 million in stock.
The draw for Google, Arrington maintains, “It holds the keys to the best real time health and desease device on earth, and Google doesn’t even have a horse in the game.”
Neither companies are saying anything about the suggestion.
Coincidently, Swine Flu is known to be currently testing out its new worldwide distribution system, and in the past couple of days has just announced its new Destructive Director. He is former Viral Design Lead at Pfizer, Dick Brewman.
